Why choose an electric moped?
An electric moped, also called an e-bike, is a moped powered by an electric motor instead of an internal combustion engine. Instead of gasoline, an e-bike has a battery that you charge.
There are several reasons why more and more people are choosing an electric moped:
- Environmentally conscious: Electric mopeds do not emit harmful exhaust fumes, making them much less harmful to the environment.
- Quiet: Electric mopeds are much quieter than internal combustion engine mopeds. This is not only more pleasant for yourself, but also for those around you.
- Cheap to operate and maintain: Although the purchase price of an electric moped is sometimes higher than that of a traditional moped, the operating costs are significantly lower. After all, you don’t have to fill up with gasoline and maintenance costs much less.
- Fast and powerful: Modern electric mopeds are fast and powerful, and can keep up with traffic just fine. An electric motor always has its maximum torque available, and with a fuel engine the torque depends on the speed.
