General
These terms and conditions apply to all purchases from our web shop and our store. If you place an order on our webshop then you automatically accept these terms and conditions. You may read these terms and conditions in advance.
Application
Your order, and therefore the purchase agreement, is final once the issuer of your credit or debit card confirms to us that the transaction has been approved. We accept Bancontact, Paypal, MasterCard, and bank transfer, among others. If the card issuer refuses the payment, the order will not be fulfilled by us. Goods are prepared for shipment within 24hrs of receiving your payment.
Photos, descriptionsn, etc.
Unless otherwise stipulated in writing, with an explicit amendment to these general terms and conditions, our photos, drawings, designs, measurements and weights, as well as other data, are only approximate descriptions, and any deviations from them, of whatever nature, can never be invoked by the customer either to refuse acceptance or payment or to obtain cancellation or claim damages.
Prices
All our prices, except the services, mentioned on the webshop are listed VAT included. A web shop is set up by people, and people can make mistakes, for which caveats. If the product you ordered is subject to such an error, we will not deliver, but proceed with a refund. The prices on the webshop are not necessarily the same as in the store.
Payment by ecocheque
If fraud is suspected, we will charge a transaction and handling fee if an order with ecocheque is canceled without a valid reason. Or if the payment process was interrupted with notice. This is to prevent ecocheque orders from being misused to convert amounts to cash. The treatment cost depends on the purchase value with a minimum of €75.
Shipping costs
Transportation costs are not included in the price, vary from country to country, and are the responsibility of the customer. For orders over €399 including VAT, shipping is free. For orders under €399 including VAT, shipping costs are clearly indicated during the purchase process.
Delivery and delivery times
We endeavor to deliver your ordered goods to you as soon as possible. For this we depend on a third party, namely the carrier. Any delivery dates given are indicative. If the carrier presents you with goods that are visually damaged, refuse the goods, or if you do accept them, it must be specifically noted on the delivery note. Without such notification, replacement is not possible. Non-visible damaged goods, must be reported within 12h by e-mail, together with supporting documents.
Repairs
If your e-step or electric scooter is repaired we will contact you by phone or email. If your repair is not picked up within one month, we are forced to charge €2 per day storage costs due to the limited space in our workshop. If your repair has not been picked up after six months it automatically becomes the property of Mobile Future.
Warranty conditions
The warranty period on new products is two years from the date of purchase. For e-steps, the warranty on batteries is one year. For electric scooters, the batttery warranty depends on the brand and is one or two years. Defects within the warranty period will be replaced or repaired free of charge. Defects or damage caused by misuse or manipulation/opening of the product are not covered by the warranty. As well as water damage or tires that have damage from under inflating.
Defects not covered by warranty:
- wear and tear on, among other things – therefore not exclusively – tires, battery and bodywork
- improper maintenance, or maintenance that was not in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions
- improper use of the products
- Mobile Future was not notified as soon as possible after identifying the problem
- Mobile Future is not given the opportunity to remedy the defects
- third parties have, without Mobile Future’s prior knowledge or consent, performed work related to the work performed by Mobile Future with respect to which the warranty is invoked
Right of withdrawal
In principle, a purchase can be returned within 15 days. Only unused, undamaged products returned in their original packaging will be eligible for a full refund. If you wish to return goods please contact us in advance by email. We will then leave you the instructions for return.The returned goods must be effectively returned to the address we provide you, not to a postal point or pickup point. Deviations from this must first be agreed upon in writing. Returns to an address other than the one we provide to you are not eligible for refund.
Force Majeure
Force majeure is any circumstance beyond our control and will that prevents us from performing our agreement. This includes strikes, fires, business interruptions, power failures, disruptions in a (telecommunications) network or connection or communication systems used or the unavailability of our website, non or late delivery by suppliers or other engaged third parties. As soon as the situation is over, we execute the agreement.
GDPR
If you place an order with us on the webshop, you must provide a valid telephone number (for contact at delivery) and e-mail address (for sending the invoice). This data will remain strictly confidential and will not be disclosed to third parties. Several times a year we inform you about special offers through this channel.
Disputes
Disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Leuven or Antwerp, in particular the Vredegerechten and the Rechtbank van Koophandel.
Mobile Future is not responsible for accidents.
